May 13, 2009 - Gaffney, South Carolina

We were in South Carolina for several days so Rick could attend an intensive 2-day Freightliner chassis school.  While he learned the finer points of motor home maintenance, Higgins and I toured the countryside, checked out the Cowpens Battlefield, and shopped at the nearby outlet mall (well I shopped and Higgins slept).  

Be sure to check out the cool sun goggles for Cosmos, the beloved dog of our neighbors in South Carolina.  He loves riding on their Gold Wing, but only if his goggles are in place and he is snuggled into his pouch. What a sight!

The vistas were spectacular as we rode through the Appalachians!
